As one would have guessed, it is the type of that worn by the immortal comedian Charlie Chaplin! He sported the more traditional bowler hat that featured a high crown. Our Wool Felt Bowler Hat with Band is a more modern version where the crown is not so tall; it is nicely in proportion with the size of the hat with a 5-inch crown and a 2.25-inch brim. It also features a 1-inch stylish band around the crown as well. It is made of 100% wool felt that is not hard and soft to the touch, yet it keeps its shape well. Made with felt wool material. Available sizes: S/M, M/L. Crown measures 5 inches deep with hat band. Brim measures 2 1/4 inches wide, up turned. Thick, soft and stiff material. Hand wash only.
